You mean the one that set the UK on course from ‘sick man of Europe’ to booming economy.

There is nothing to show that the UK could not have 'boomed' better alone. EU growth is fading fast now.

Decades of decline dramatically reversed.

That’s the evidence we have.

You can imagine other scenarios but that’s what they are, figments of your imagination.

Just imagine if the Socialist were in charge, blimey.

We've even got Labour MP's on strike picket lines getting the sack..What a mess..................????

The reasons for the delay is because staffing levels/problems at the French passport control , there wasn't enough French immigration  people checking Covid documents and hence there was a delays .

   Nothing to do with Brexit

The UK is on the list of "green" countries for which no Covid checks are carried out by the French, so that is definitely not a factor.

French government Covid information

Brexit is the only reason that there is a need for passport controls and so it clearly has everything to do with Brexit.

That is not true , you have posted false information  , here are the requirements for Brits going to France

If you’re fully vaccinated

From 31 March 2022, fully vaccinated travellers from the UK aged 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination.

If you’re not fully vaccinated

From 31 March 2022, travellers from the UK aged 12 years and over who are not fully vaccinated need to provide:

  • A negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours or an antigen test result, taken within 48 hours pre-departure.

Really , can you not understand ?

G7 is not the E.U .

USA and Canada and Japan are G7 member Countries and they are not in Europe and therefore Brexit and G7 are two separate things and not related

Are people travelling to Spain via ferry now? Don't you get embarrassed putting your thoughts in writing?

Trains or boats or planes, it makes no difference. Same passport checks. I would be embarrassed if I was a French border officer.

Just at Dover it seems, that six Frenchmen being late for work can bring the whole county to a standstill.

Not the whole country, but it certainly brought Dover and the motorway to a standstill.  And a lot of Remainers exaggerated complaints about it.
Just six Frenchmen who forgot to turn up to work? Some here are still trying to tell us it was all due to Brexit.

You might note that the Eurostar doesn't have the same issue. French officials there don't seem to have an issue with the British.

Eurostar does actually have the same issues though

The pleasures of holding third nation status.

A direct result of Brexit.

Yes, that is what we wanted and that is why we voted to leave the E.U.

We voted for Brexit for the reason that people couldn't just cross the English channel without having visas when required or having their passports checked .

Yes, those rules will also apply to Brits going in the other direction to France

Lovely Jubly.

Yes, now that everything is back to normal at Dover and the French have got their finger out and are now doing their jobs , we can get back to enjoying U.K's independence  from the E.U .The damage this has caused in  peoples confidence in crossing the channel to France for a holiday, should benefit the U.Ks holiday industry .

I just hope that there's  still some hotel vacancies in Cornwall to accommodate everyone

What you need to be embarrassed about is voting to end freedom of movement and then moaning when your freedom of movement is removed.

My freedom is not restricted. So long as it restricts cheap EU Labour continuing to flood the UK it is doing its job.

As for Dover, I may have mentioned earlier that I don’t care.

Understandable.

Was that the only reason?

Make you mind up. Was it the Frenchmen who forgot to go to work, or do you now think it was Brexit just for that particular weekend but none of the other days.

You are wrong again. Highly skilled workers can get a visa, as can highly skilled Brits for the EU. The No skilled job stealing benefit scroungers are hopefully having problems.

Or they can go elsewhere in Europe without any restrictions at all.
