Hi can anyone advise me on how long it takes to get a yellow book?

I took all my documents along with the local head man to our local office and submitted them. Two weeks later we still hadn’t heard anything so I got the wife to send the guy a message on line, he replied to say he had lost everything, great, so we sent him photos of all the copies. The next day he thankfully found all the documents and assured my wife that he would get the book done ASAP. Another 3 weeks have passed now and we haven’t heard a thing, my wife seems to think we should just wait but I can’t believe it would take 5 weeks.

any advise would be most welcome.

Weird this. I was issued the Yellow Book the same day I applied!

 

Same as MJCM, 3 issued, 2 different provinces, on day asked for.

 

Why is someone doing it for you ?

My yellow book took 12 month's from start to finish, I live in Pathum Thani

I’m doing it with my wife but we needed the local head man to sign some documents as well.

We gathered everyone at the Amphur (village chief / Witness) and they filled in the paper work there and then. About 2-3 hours later I got my Yellow Book!
