77kaoded Thai Caption: Man complains! Hanging wires all over the road nearly killed him

77kaoded continued their almost daily reporting about motorcyclists coming off their bikes after getting their necks entangled in the country's infamous hanging wires and cables.

The latest incident happened to a delivery rider after his shift when he was going for a bite to eat.

He was thrown off his bike. As he showed the marks of strangulation he said he thought he was dead when the incident occurred in Muang district of Sa Kaeo in eastern Thailand.

This happened on a road leading to the Muang district police station.

He went online to complain and was advised by posters to seek compensation with the relevant authorities.

Thailand has spent billions of baht on burying cables but only in major cities and tourist areas.

The country remains a complete mess in many places, a problem highlighted by none other than Microsoft founder Bill Gates back in 2016.

His "holiday snaps" prompted PM Prayuth Chan-ocha to get busy.

Installation standards not just for copper cables but fibre also is appallingly bad.

Without these  riders getting some meaningful compensation

from the owners of the wire, nothing is going to change , the

only way to get them to maintain the wires ,is hit them hard

in their pockets,
