One sedan trying to cross the road was struck by another sedan, injuring six people.

The collision took place today at 3:00 AM near Soi Siam Country Club in the Nongprue subdistrict. A white Mitsubishi sedan was found with another black Mazda sedan jammed into the middle of the car, trapping six victims in total in the two car wrecks.

Two victims sustained serious injuries and the other four were rushed to a nearby hospital in an ambulance of the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation. An eyewitness, Ekapoj Thamwong, stated that the Mitsubishi was trying to cross the road to enter Soi Siam Country Club before getting crashed in the middle by a black Mazda.

Quite so.  Or perhaps a hatchback.  Certainly not a saloon (sedan).

The model is irrelevant as we both know but using the term 'sedan' betrays a non native  speaker with little experience of English as a world  language and unfortunately someone unwilling to learn because this is the second time this grating mistake has been made.

outstanding effort given how little traffic is in the roads (particularly the darkside) at 3am !!

Except that isn't where it happened. it was right in the middle of Sukhumvit by the photo's.

Terminolgy of "sedan" aside dating back to about 1760 in England (and yanks in modern day, we know it's you driving on the wrong side of the road again ????), that is one hell of a smash at 03:00am on the darkside. Something else at play. One awful impact and hope all those involved are OK.

Thats a car not a sedan.

A sedan is a car meaning 4 doors. And here just meaning not a pickup.

At intersection to SCC.

My comment still stands, there is not much traffic at that time of the day.

I wondered about the term so looked it up. Although it's a term not commonly used for decades it is actually correct. The definition I found was a car that is closed and that has front and rear seats and two or four doors.

Just a simple case of Me First. Perfectly normal in Thailand.
