Daily News Thai Caption: Danger lurks....outside your house

Daily News reported on an alarming incident that happened late Tuesday night at the Bua Thong 4 housing estate in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi.

A Facebook post by a man said that his younger sister was alone in a house at 11.30 pm when a completely naked man arrived on a Honda Wave and asked her for a drink. She ran into the house. The post concluded that the police or relatives of the man should do something.

The media caught up with Miss "A" who told them that she had only moved in this June. Just after 10pm she was putting things away outside her house that is used as a place to sell drinks.

A completely naked man walked in and asked her repeatedly for a drink.

Though profoundly shocked she said that she gave him a drink in a glass then ran inside and locked up.

She immediately called her boyfriend to hurry over. While doing this the man was standing there naked enjoying his drink without an apparent care in the world. He then left on the bike.

Further examination of CCTV showed a man aged about 30 who had parked his white and black Wave, removed his clothes then entered her property, where she lives alone.

She was sure he must have cased the joint before to see her routine and realised she was alone.

She suspected that he may have mental problems and asked for relatives to come forward and help him.

She was sure he wasn't from around there.

When I was in high school I lived in a high rise apartment building  with my family in a large city.  There was a guy that lived on one of the upper floors. He was known to drink too much.  One day when he was drunk.  He came down the elevator and went outside for a walk.
He was completely naked except for wearing a hat.  He didn’t bother anyone.  Just wandering around like a normal walk.
Needless to say the police came and took him away.

Copy cat, it's not original.

He got his idea from a few foreigners that have done similar over the years here in Pattaya.

It's funny how Western do-gooders frown upon the habit of chaining up insane people in some cultures, yet these cultures have pretty much no protection from anyone, other than what an individual and those near them can provide.  It makes the practice seem a lot more reasonable.

Reckon the relatives are going in the opposite direction.
