One is Champaign the other isn't. Which is which? The fact of the matter is Champagne is a region and the French don't won't anyone who isn't French and from that region using the word champagne on their sparkling wines. Champagne of course is a sparkling wine and sparkling wine is of course what everyone calls champagne regardless of what's on the label. It's quite mad. I had some very nice Australian champagnes back in the day. Still called champagne back then. Loved the stuff. Great with a snort of coke. -

The Kremlin must have had a laugh before responding to the losing side demanding a ceasefire on their terms. Witkoff will be on his knees in Moscow next week begging for a face-saving exit for Trump. But it's not clear if that's even possible given the momentum with which the Russians are pushing on all fronts. I fear for Little Marco though. He must be terrified of losing his head if he has to bear bad news to the WH. -

Lay off the Soviet Propaganda. The Russians nearly cost themselves the war with their mismanagement of the Kursk attacks. You forget that Russia lost 1.7 million personnel as either dead or injured to the Germans 350,000 (500,000 if you accept Russian claims). Russia depleted its airforce when the loss of 4,000 aircraft in this campaign. Russia was sending waves of unarmed conscripts . Nothing much has changed ith the Russian mentality has it? -
