Thai Airways TG911 seating plan

Featured Replies

I'll be flying on Thai airways tg911 London to Bangkok and wanted to upgrade
my seat to maybe get some better leg room with a bulkhead seat.

I chose 46d but thought I would check SeatGuru as well and noticed a completely different layout for the plane. 46d would be a standard economy seat on SeatGuru?

Which seating plan should be trusted?

Thanks

I flew TG911 two days ago and yes, the seat plan on Thai Airways' website was different to Seat Guru. It seems that Seat Guru have some out of date info. The plane I was on was one of the three new B777s (HS-TTC) that has a first class cabin. Unusually there is separate cabin of just two rows of economy seats. That would be the place to sit however they charge extra £80+ to sit there (they offered it to someone and they moved there). Thai are also selling bulkhead seats for same. I was in standard seat 36H which was perfectly fine.

These new planes not much different in economy or business from the old 777s however the IFE was newer but seriously lacked choice of films. Looking back on Flight Radar24 Thai have been exclusively running HS-TTA, HS-TTB and HS-TTC as TG910/TG911 on the BKK/LHR/BKK route since May this year.

The food on board in economy has taken a dive though sice April (Sweet and Sour chicken and rice). Breakfast was better but seems Thai has changed caterers out of LHR. No more Thai Signature dishes (or whatever they called it).

I was on this flight in July.

Seat Guru was showing incorrect information.

The Thai Airways app was showing the correct seat layout.

Thanks for your replies. The plane is a Boeing 777-300er.

I have gone ahead and purchased the seats. I have flown with Thai quite a lot many years ago travelling to Bangkok and the service and whole experience was perfect.

It's a shame reading the reviews of how they have gone down hill, but this time the price was the best.

I flew Thai once, that was more than enough, I now use the middle east carriers, so so much nicer, a better user experience all round.

Since EMIRATES stopped doing the SYD-BKK route I've been flying TG Business.

I did notice last month that the staff are actually "trying" to be better.

The flight attendants went up to each individual passenger (in the business section) and thanked them (by their name) for 'coming back' to THAI.

I thought that was a nice touch.

For my choice of seating...  I just chose the seat on their website after purchasing the ticket.

What I didn't like was the breakfast's MUSHROOM OMELETTE...  which was just the old SPANISH OMELETTE rebranded.   Powdered eggs????????

Hi, what were the seats like in the end? We're thinking the same? Thanks

7 months have passed and the topic starter has not been on here since Oct 22.

So be surprised if an answer comes.

Situation is unchanged, it's a 777-300ER and 46D is an ordinary economy seat due to SeatGuru.
