Have any of you read on your local embassies, or something of that nature, if the STV scheme will 1) be extended post september 2) if not extended, atleast able to do the aforementioned extensions

The current order for the STV does not end until September 30th.

I think some immigration offices are still doing extensions of the entry from an existing STV.

 

I might also add that my new STV was approved last week (very swiftly) and I'm entering the kingdom on Sep. 23rd. 

Since you already have the visa STV visa you will be able to enter using it and getting a 90 day stay.

Whether you will be able to get the 90 day extensions will depend upon the STV order being extended. I personally think it will be extended.

Any news yet if STV will be extended? And if extended, you think they may be reduce the requirements like Thai insurance?

I have seen nothing about the order being extended yet.

I doubt they will change the insurance requirements.
