Video Twelve Dead in Tragic Multi-Vehicle Collision on SCTEX
File photo for reference only A devastating multi-vehicle collision on the northbound lane of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) resulted in the deaths of twelve individuals and left 27 others injured on Labour Day, May 1. The catastrophic event occurred around 12:30 pm at the Tarlac SCTEX Exit Toll Plaza, as confirmed by Central Luzon police chief Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo. Initial reports from the Central Luzon Police Regional Office (PRO 3) indicate that the accident involved three SUVs, a container truck, and a passenger bus. The incident was triggered when the passenger bus collided with an SUV stopped at Lane 2 of the toll plaza. The severe impact created a chain reaction, causing the SUV to crash into multiple vehicles ahead of it. As investigation efforts continue, authorities are working to understand the full scope of the incident and the precise series of events that led to this tragic outcome. The police are looking into all possibilities to determine the cause and prevent such accidents in the future. Adapted by ASEAN Now from Inquirer 2025-05-01 -

Trump can't understand photoshopped MS13
Apparently open to interpretation only be Dems and people like you who do not really know prison tats and their meanings. AS i know it, the federal police in immigration already said they were MS13 tats. Why you can not accept that is beyond me. Perhaps they all lied and you and the Dems trying to use this in their political maneuvering just think it is better to argue it than to believe the feds anymore. It is like having the name Mary tattooed above your pecker. Your new wife or gf that sees it will never believe you that you tattooed MARY above your pecker for religious reasons... Not for the ex gf Mary that dumped you. -

Trump can't understand photoshopped MS13
Of course there's something to contest it - multiple experts on gang affiliations and tattoos have pointed out that these are not known to be symbols associated with MS13. Even US law enforcement does not list these symbols as being MS13-related. As stated in the article below: https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-posts-image-kilmar-abrego-175852020.html -

Tourism Thailand Vows to End Dual Pricing Amid Growing Tourist Backlash
I'm a cheap backpacker type. That's how I also became a cheap retired at 45 in Thailand type. I far and away prefer a backpack as the filthy rollers and being IN the street generally is not the order of the day. I'd say filthy roll bag types. My Thai wife, also used a backpack for years with me and before me. I nag and plead not to take a roll bag. Ever been run over in an airport.. by a person that doesn't give a F? Roll bagger mentality and never an apology. I'm 64 and I'll use a 36L pack until I cannot carry it no more. As for "backpackers" yeah, I rather loathe what I have seen in social media and bump into randomly in BKK. They are what I call placebaggers. They just flit from one stupid trendy area to another OR they blather on about how real, authentic somewhere is when I'd found it dead and finished 30 years ago. Indeed, I did zero travel in Thailand's my first decade in E Asia and used it exclusively for RnR. Islands, fun. On my first visit in 92 visit seemed done and over preferring Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao, Vietnam. On TT they are all running to 711 and posting up about the delicious junk food. Farang don't eat Thai food -

Finally identified my long-term illness (Bronchiectasis), thanks to Dr Google :)
Thanks - I plan to order one asap - I'm just changing my shipping address in Thailand. Sheryl, I certainly haven't noticed any degradation in my lung health over the past 25 years. The 'flare-ups' (chronic bronchitis, excess mucus etc), were reduced in number since I left the UK climate to south-east Asia, but are definitely exacerbated by smoky air. I have no plans to consult any medical doctors about this because a:my condition has not degraded in 25 years and b) I have little confidence nowadays in the medical profession and c) use of huff coughing, avoidance of smoky air, use of mucus thinners and use of other mucus-clearing aids seems to be enough for me to maintain reasonable lung health. Were my illness due to COPD, I think that the narrowing of my bronchi would (by now) have resulted in shortness of breath etc. My lung function seems almost normal, except for the excess mucus and throat infections created by the bacteria in this excess mucus.
