Anywhere in Tukcom (or elsewhere) that specialises in batteries?

I'm after a battery that fits a cheap mobile phone I bought from Lazada. I only use the phone as an audiobook as I now have an Oppo. All the local phone shops I've tried don't carry it, so need somewhere that carries a wide range of batteries.

Hi,

Did they look inside the phone or checked what kind of battery it uses ?

If not, do this work for them and bring them phone and battery (bought on Aliexpress or Lazada) to replace.

yes, took the phone and had it opened, they didn't have that battery. It's a no-name phone with a no-name battery.

Why don't you just buy another cheap phone?

Because a battery might be only a hundred baht or so, but the cheap phone was around 1500 baht. Besides, the battery failed on the cheap phone after a few months. Do I want to spend 1500 baht for the same thing to happen again?

Can you actually remove the battery without taking the phone to pieces? Years ago you could easily change it not they are an integral part of the circuitry.

Battery easily removed, showed it in my pics.

Just scan the "barcode" on the battery... There comes already a result ...

Is Goldpro Mobil Phone the result? That doesn't get any hits on Google.

Go into the settings of the phone.  Look for "About" and post back what it says.

Also, connect the phone to your WiFi network and then install the "Fing App" and run a scan.  The brand of the phone may be displayed, along with its internal IP address.

This information may give a starting point for some more online searching.

I'm sure the phone shops would have recognised it, if that's what it was.

Yes but could a Nokia be used perhaps.  Photo appears a bit wider (terminals are at edge on Nokia).  My Nokia is 6cm high and 3.8cm wide - if your battery is a bit wider suspect you could use the Nokia with a bit of foam/paper to keep contacts aligned.

I'll take it to another phone shop and compare batteries. Worth a try.

The only chance. A thing that can not be identified has to be measured mm by mm and compared.

A real strange thing not even showing capacity.

Expect any the same size or a bit smaller would work - as yours unmarked expect they did not want to take a chance.  If a smartphone perhaps a Samsung?

It says the phone is a S21, which is Samsung and Anroid 10 (which I doubt), but the phone is unbranded and is really just a cheap piece of sh*t. Like I said, I only use it to listen to audiobooks, so if I have to bin it no great loss.
