Lucinda Fonts

Featured Replies

My handwriting, which has never been very good, is now approaching that of an english doctors! In the past I have had both Lucinda handwriting and Lucinda calligraphy fonts.

Anyone have these or can tell me where to get them please.

I'm running XP Pro..so where and how would I put them

Thanks

These fonts are called LUCIDA not Lucinda :D

Whatever, both are available from Adobe, but they are neither free nor cheap ($24) IMHO a total rip-off for something that was supplied with Office or Windows :o

Try a Google search, a lot of sites come up, but all I checked were not free download. Also, if you have your old Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / Office CDs have a look on there, you may strike lucky (I don't have these to hand or I'd look).

Perhaps a visit to your local computer mall (Pantip, Fortune etc.) is in order, I've seen disks with hundreds of fonts, gotta be something similar for free.

Sorry Crossy but they are called Lucinda fonts. Lucida comes with XP already.

A link to download can be found here > http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006032703850

Very sorry Tywais, but if you follow that download it definately installs LUCIDA HANDWRITING :D

Yes, there are a couple of Lucida fonts with XP, just not the handwriting or caligraphy.

Didn't have time to download it but you are right. I know I've seen Lucinda on my computer in the past and have used it but may have been from another application installation (Adobe?).

Barring requiring Luci(n)da, there are a bunch of free fonts including calligraphy here > http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/calligraphy-fonts.htm

I didn't see Lucinda (or Lucida) but there are some other nice ones.

Thanks guys, have found something suitable. Apparently Lucinda handwriting and caligraphy were included in WIN98 but not in XP. XP just had Lucida.
