Siam Rath reported that rescue services from Sawang Bamphen in Prachinburi went to the rear of a property after reports of the sighting of a crocodile with its mouth open sunning itself by a pond.

But as the croc catchers arrived at the 10x20m 3m deep pond the croc slipped out of sight.

It took three hours utilizing mild electric shocks applied to the water before the croc reappeared.

It was a 2m 25 cm long specimen weighing in at 40 kilos.

Amorn, 58, said he had been called into cut the grass when he saw the crocodile.

The owner of the land Pranee said that she was an infrequent visitor but had been alerted by the renter of the property that there was a water blockage.

This led them to clearing a pond used for agricultural purposes, and the discovery of the crocodile.

I can never understand why people like killing other living things so much .

Taking drugs and killing animals , what else did you do to enjoy yourselves ?

We, err... caught fish to eat. Big mouth bass. Had the lake stocked at great expense.

The gator liked to eat them too. Very Darwinian I know.

That might have been a huge surprise if standing in the pond.
