I have been advised to buy a 1-2-Call sim card by many people when I arrive..Any suggestions on were to buy one at the airport there..??

Liquido, I dont know about the airport but when you get to hotel or wherever any phone shop will sell you one, activate it and credit it for you. Not a bad network and do a good deal on GPRS for internet.

There's an AIS/1-2-Call counter located on the arrivals floor near the exit. :o

Get DTAC. You can change your plans so much easier and at Bt1 per minute max it cannot be beat on price. One of their services was even free calls to Issan !

wait till you get to your hotel and go to any mall you can get sim cards very cheap there

And pray for coverage. No luck in remote areas where AIS/1-2-call can still shine with two 'blibs' or more...
