Pattaya Deputy Mayor Wuthisak Rermkijakarn forbade beach vendors from placing kites on the beach, saying the kites were damaging the beautiful scenery.

The deputy visited Pattaya Beach at 10 A.M. yesterday, September 20th, to inspect the beach and greet beachgoers and vendors from the Dusit Thani intersection down to Central Pattaya.

During the trip, Wuthisak asked for cooperation from the beach vendors to refrain from placing their stalls and kites on the beach, citing that the stalls and kites might ruin the beautiful scenery and cause disorder.

Everything is an eyesore; it should all be flattened.

The beach is pretty flat already.

They need to set out the rules wrt vendors.... we all hate the pesky hawkers but need a cold drink, a beer, or snack now and again!
