Thai police seize ฿460m in assets from online gambling network

The Crime Suppression Division (CSD) has seized more than 460 million baht in assets and cash in coordinated raids on 52 locations in 10 provinces suspected to be linked to a major online gambling network based in the north-eastern province of Khon Kaen.

All temporary COVID-19 hospitals to be closed at the end of September

Thailand’s Health Service Support Department will not extend the licenses of temporary hospitals after October 1st, when COVID-19 is to be reclassified from a “dangerous infectious disease” to an “infectious disease under watch”, unless there are still patients being treated there, said Dr. Tares Krassanairawiwong, the department’s director-general, today (Friday).

Factory Closed for 15 Days After Chemical Leak Incident

NAKHON PATHOM (NNT) - The Nakhon Pathom provincial industrial works office has ordered the Indorama Polyester Industries plant in the Nakhon Chai Si district to close for 15 days beginning Thursday (Sep 22), pending an inspection to ensure there are no further chemical leaks into the environment.

Bangkok and 6 provinces warned of potential overflows from Chao Phraya

The Royal Irrigation Department will, from tomorrow, increase rate of water being discharged through the Chao Phraya Dam in Chai Nat province, from 1,989m3/sec to as much as 2,200m3/sec, due to the increased volume of water flowing into its reservoir.
