So instead of domestic split type wall air-conditioner, there's portable air con unit, they handily come with duct that's probably useful to pipe into tents, although this type of aircon is less efficient, it could cost less than to cool the whole room if you could just cool the smaller area of the tent

 

Anyone has experience with ducting airconditioner directly into grow tents?

you can do that but another option is to use Carbon dioxide injection. When using co2, and enough light (LOTS) then you can run the temp hihgher, say 85f. This will increase the metabolic rate of the plants and give you faster groth rates. it may even eliminate the need for AC completely. The big caveat is that the plant must have plenty of all available needs met. meaning good nutrients, lots of light, plenty of water. It works wonders in a hydroponic or aeroponic system.
