Karaoke owners arrested after cops bust customers for drugs

The owners of two karaoke parlors in the central Phu Yen Province have been arrested after police allegedly found customers there using drugs.

Ngo Van Toan, 44, owner of Ron Rin karaoke bar, and Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, 39, owner of Bao Tram karaoke bar in Dong Hoa Town, are under investigation for "organization of illegal drug use."

On Sep. 17 officers raided Ron Rin and found 10 men and women using drugs in one of its karaoke rooms. They also seized some synthetic drugs and tools for using drugs from the room.
