Phuket expects to generate at least 2 billion baht over this long holiday weekend

Phuket – Phuket is expecting to generate at least two billion baht over this long four-day holiday weekend.


The Phuket Tourism Authority Office Director Ms. Nantasiri Ronnari told the Phuket Express, “Over these four holidays from October 13th to October 16th there are 24,370 international visitors from 137 flights in 29 airlines arriving while 28,038 Thai visitors from 217 flights in seven airlines are arriving.”

 

“We are expecting about 152,691 visitors in Phuket during these long holidays which we believe will generate at least two billion baht.” Ms. Nantasiri concluded.

We've got a lot of out-of-town tee timers invited and booked at our west coast course this weekend if this indicates a few of the squillions of baht n people purported to be flowing in. Me, I'm passing on weekend rounds this week.
