Coastal erosion has been ravaging Vietnam's central Thua Thien Hue Province following the aftermath of Storm Son Ca that arrived last weekend.

 

A beach section exceeding 400 meters in Phu Thuan Commune of Phu Vang District was eroded by more than 20 meters, threatening the safety of more than 1,000 families.

 

Local authorities, coast guards and residents join forces to prevent further encroachment along the beach in Phu Thuan Commune.
