Daily News Thai Caption: Hunt for naked villain

Daily News carried a story about a housing estate called Ban Nanuan in Sisaket, north eastern Thailand.

Eight households have reported being the victim of a thief who is masked and shirted but naked from the waist down.

He has been seen parading his penis for the cameras.

One woman named only as A said that she was asleep when she was awoken by the sound of a cash drawer rattling.

She shouted "Who's there!?" and the person ran off. She said she could clearly identify the thief's sexual organ from the CCTV.

The experience of victim B, 43, was even more scary. She was asleep when she heard her 12 year old daughter scream out for help.

The daughter in another room had been awoken by an intruder who likely gained access through an unlocked front door.

He had grabbed her arm when she screamed out for her mum scaring him off.

Victim C, 58, said that she noticed that 7,000 baht was missing from her purse. She questioned her husband who said he hadn't touched it.

He checked his own wallet and found 2,000 baht missing from there.

Other valuables in the home like phones were left untouched.

Women on the estate understandably fear attack from this dangerous intruder and mothers have expressed grave concern for their children.

They have called on the police to get cracking on solving the case.

In this day and age I am surprised - no mention of breaking in for any of the thefts mentioned.

If they manage to get a suspect will they be holding an identity parade?

She got a clear vision of his penis. She said " That's Somchai who sells noodles around here. I'm his regular customer"????

The bare-faced-cheek of t.

"The daughter in another room had been awoken by an intruder who likely gained access through an unlocked front door. "

"Women on the estate understandably fear attack from this dangerous intruder and mothers have expressed grave concern for their children."

They are so concerned they might even resort to the highly inconvenient burden of locking their front doors at night.......
