Popular Post webfact Posted October 28, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 28, 2022 by Namo Vananupong BANGKOK (NNT) - The prime minister has asserted a revamp of Thailand requires the implementation of 3 core strategies that would elevate prosperity and people’s overall livelihood. Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha delivered a speech on the topic “Accelerating Thailand.” He elaborated the government strives to concretely bring various initiatives to realization as it prepares the nation for future challenges. One goal is to elevate the overall wealth of the nation and dissipate prosperity to every locality so people’s livelihood could improve. Three core strategies are being implemented for these purposes. The first strategy involves infrastructure development for transportation as well as for digital affairs. Infrastructure will open up opportunities for people to make their living and be self-reliant. The second strategy involves the electric vehicles industry and modern agriculture. These two industries are poised to become among the world’s largest in the future. The third strategy concerns the use of the banking sector to create opportunities for new entrepreneurs and enterprises. The prime minister said the aim is to bring these strategies to realization within the next 12 months. Many projects under these strategies are already progressing. Gen. Prayut called for the public to have confidence in said projects and asked for public cooperation in taking the nation toward greater prosperity. The prime minister added there are criticisms over his management of the nation from time to time, and said this is normal in a democracy. He noted that people should not let their attention over crucial national matters be distracted. He asked that everybody contribute to the big picture at hand and ready the nation for the future. Popular Post jvs Posted October 28, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 28, 2022 If you really want to help the poor people of Thailand you Know what you should do. None of that is going to happen. Here is a hint, one main thing is to stop corruption. More infrastructure? More ways to get brown envelopes. My friends village got money for a new road, the budget for that was enough. The road only went half way, money gone! Where is it? 4 2

There are a lot of good Police officers but for some reason they do not get promoted. Call it peer pressure if you like. 1

Thailand is corrupt from top to bottom. It's a way of life and is casually accepted/expected. If you replaced all the police, you would still have a corrupt police force, just like any other sector, no need to succumb to anything. Corruption is a Thailand problem, not something unique to any particular area. 1

Also to help you spend more on the poor you might want to stop rich people getting the pensions as they are lined up every month with their hand out. 1
Eleftheros Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 There is no corruption in the system in Thailand. Corruption is the system.

But only for the rich in every locality. The poor can go & get stuffed, as they cannot afford the contents of a brown paper envelope to grease the wheels of official corruption. According to https://tricycle.org/beginners/buddhism/three-poisons/ In his early teachings, the Buddha identified “three poisons,” or three fires, or three negative qualities of the mind that cause most of our problems—and most of the problems in the world. The three poisons are: greed (raga, also translated as lust), hatred (dvesha, or anger), and delusion (moha, or ignorance). The three poisons are opposed by three wholesome, or positive attitudes essential to liberation: generosity (dana), lovingkindness (maitri, Pali: metta), and wisdom (prajna). What is Uncle Tu's (& his wife's) wealth valued at now I wonder?
