Popular Post webfact
By Adam Judd Pattaya, Thailand-For the first time in three years Pattaya will celebrate a normal Halloween, traditionally one of the busiest party nights of the year in the tourism reliant city. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions and border closures the past several years Halloween was a muted affair. Indeed, last year bars and nightlife venues were mandated shut and alcohol banned at restaurants. In 2020, venues were open but strict zero covid border closures limited foreign tourism to almost zero. Venues also had to adhere to various strict COVID-19 measures. This year, however, basically all restrictions and border controls are gone, entertainment venues are open and it seems nearly every one in Pattaya is having a Halloween party. DJ54
Didn’t know so I looked it up… Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October 31, and Halloween 2022 will occur on Monday, October 31. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time,
