Thai Rath went to the historical ruins in Ayutthaya after Forbes Advisor named them as one of 50 must see locations post pandemic.

They reported that an ever increasing number of foreign tourists and tour groups were visiting the ruins.

Guides told them that tourism to Thailand was getting better and better as the pandemic fades into memory.

Tourists were pictured at a reclining Buddha.

In the 1700's Ayutthaya was a huge center of culture and trade and was bigger than Paris back in the day.

It fell into ruin after being sacked by the Burmese heralding the start of the Chakri Dynasty of kings based in Bangkok.
