how many people actually get cirrosis of the liver and die from booze? i was surrounded by hard drinkers as a kid and not a single one of them died from liver failure. in fact most of them are still alive now, well into their 80s and still drinking.

My mrs brother aged 55

My Brother did at age 47
one thing to note, there is a huge difference in people who drink or get drunk regular/daily and actual hard drinkers

that said, if you are taking a break to lose weight.......
it is the sugar not the alcohol
ditch the beers and switch to whatever spirit and soda/water/ice/straight

that is a step in the right direction

Beer makes you hungry, eat more.

You shouldnt drink more than 10 beers a week imo and at least 2 days off.

I suggest trying kratom instead. AFAIK legal in Thailand.

If the OP is trying to lose weight, spirits are the way to go, as another poster has said. Beer simply has too many carbs for weight loss to be effectual.

I drink Sangsom and diet Coke.

Being 100% diet perfect isnt easy. I drank the coke after exercise. Floyd Mayweather has a coke after training.

Coca-Cola is good for cleaning stuff too, coins, jewelry and toilet bowls.
