A video that was shared by TV presenter Sorayuth Suthassachaijinda showed a wild elephant on the road in the area of the Khao Yai national park.

Someone in a pick-up had challenged and annoyed the elephant by revving their engine.

Then they stopped, opened the door and took some snaps, reported Sanook

It was considered reckless and dangerous behavior that could have resulted in a serious incident.

Other motorists responded appropriately by stopping and keeping their distance.

Complete lunatic - they have destroyed cars that got too close before.  He's very lucky there were no calves around. Adult Elephants will kill to protect their calves.

Both pathetic and dangerous. While some Thai people are good with animals, others are hopeless.
