Naew Na Thai Caption: Hunt for croc - after two meter long beast seen on road

 

Naew Na reported from Uthai Thani province in the north of Thailand where a large crocodile is freaking out the locals.

 

Late on Saturday night people travelling about on the Uthai to Krokphra Road at 11 pm had seen a two meter long crocodile wandering about.

It appeared to have gone to ground in a klong but many people were mobilized by the Muang district chief yesterday to find the crocodile.

Some had high powered weapons. 

 

Exactly what species of crocodile this was and where it comes from is unsure, but it is scaring the locals in a housing estate.

Loudspeaker messages were going out to residents who were also told on an estate Line group to report any sightings as the hunt gained intensity yesterday.
