A court has freed a well known Thai man and CEO of a company that organizes K-Pop events.

Aphidit "Em" Intulaksana denied charges of rape at a resort in the Nakniwat Road in downtown Bangkok back in August.

Bail was denied earlier.

But yesterday the court said he could be released after a bank book with one million baht was deposited at the court by the family lawyer.

The suspect was released on bail on the condition that he does not tamper with witnesses or potential evidence.

If he goes abroad he has to obtain the permission of the court first.

At 9.15 pm last night the suspect walked out of jail to a change in clothes from waiting relatives.

He gave no press interview to Thai Rath reporters before hurrying away.

Again one of those articles with almost no real information but lots of opportunities to speculate.

Who is the actress?

What is the accusation against the CEO? What did he allegedly do?

Is the rape victim in hospital?

Does the alleged rapist have lots of scratch marks on his face when she tried to fight him?

Lot of questions, no answers.

Time to speculate. Or maybe we should all wait a few days or weeks until enough facts are known.

the suspect then went to his bank saying he had lost his bank book and was promptly issued a replacement (that's not what happened, but...)

A few days or weeks more likely months and months leading to years until forgotten.

Turning in a passport should have been added to the conditions of release. First time I have heard of a serious crime like this when the defendant has to:  "Notify the court before leaving the country"??? What if he goes to a country where Thailand does not have an extradition treaty?  Just wondering only.

I'm assuming they have confiscated his passport or are they letting him keep it seeing that he has agreed to tell them if he intends to flee the country!? ????

No he has first to ask for permission from court to go abroad:cheesy:
