Gammon Steaks , are they available in Thai shops , Makro , Robinsons , Tesco ?

Been on the look out but had no luck .

See Brooks Baked Beans have also gone.

"Thailand "gammon steaks"" and you will get pages of responses!

Makro has Ham steaks 6 pieces per 1Kg pack approx 300 Baht.

Last time I looked 2 Types 'Round' and 'Canadian Bacon'.

Round ones are tasty, get them every so often, and since not 'labeled' Gammon, they aren't silly priced ????

You can make quite acceptable "gammon" by curing pork loin using the "Pauline's Ham in a Bag" technique. https://www.localfoodheroes.com/paulines-ham-in-a-bag/

 

I know it's not technically "gammon" but it disappears just as rapidly as the $$$ stuff (and you know exactly what's in it).

I've had them from Villa but only found Villa 33 and Thonglor.

I ended up with the Canadian Bacon steaks.
