Looking For A "bijou" Hotel Near The Royal Suite Executive Apartments

Due to unforeseen and unwelcome circumstances, I need to find a hotel in Huai Khwang - my friends are staying at the Royal Suite Executive Apartments, but they look a bit bland to me.

I'd rather stay at a smaller hotel or guest house. Does anyone know of a good "boutique" hotel there or anything other than a megalithic tower block. Car parking essential

Well thanks for all the advice....I didn't realize I was asking a bunch of illiterates!

I use three French words and get giggly responses all round. should have known better than to ask in the Bangkok section.
