BTS train fares to increase 1-3 baht on January 1st

Commuters using the Bangkok Mass Transit (BTS) train service on the Sukhumvit and Silom routes will be charged an additional 1-3 baht beginning on January 1st, according to the company.

FORMER Palang Pracharat MP Pareena Kraikupt was sentenced to 16 months in jail but this suspended for two years for defaming the leader of a Khon Kaen activist group Mr. Atthaphon Buapat, or  Khruyai (head master), Naewna newspaper said this afternoon (Nov. 30).

Prime Minister Prayut Chan ocha remained tight-lipped when informed of the decision by the Constitutional Court on Wednesday after his return from Chiang Rai to Bangkok.

 

Wednesday’s court decision sets the stage for a General Election in 2023 which will be fought with a fairer, easier-to-understand and more transparent voting and counting process.
