A New Leaf

Dear Bedlam

Please let it be known that the member formerly known as bendix (lower case :o no longer exists, as you know him. The snarly asides, the cynicism, the calculated evilness. All gone.

From this day forth, a new improved bendix is born. A noble chap, upright, dignified, kind, loving, nurturing and all that <deleted>. Where the old one was cruel, this one shall smother with niceness. Where old bendix was calculating savage, bendix mark II will be obsequious and adoring. Where old bendix was brutal, the new bendix will be cuddly. I want to celebrate the child within.

I hope you appreciate the effort I'm making. My postcount might go down a little, but it takes a lot of time to read all those 'How to be Nice and Make Friends' books. I'm sure it will be worth the effort.

So . . . . here we go.

A small taster . . I love you all. No, really, I do. Please love me back.

Yours in empathy yadda yadda yadda.

PS . the above applies until I get bored with it, or until tomorrow night at 5pm, whichever comes first.

We love you, bendix.

How about a group hug now...

Oh dear that'll never do, I actually rather enjoy your wicked remarks.

Money talks, bullshit walks, that is how life goes.

20thb and I will be your friend, if not <deleted> off my land! :o

There are vast benefits to being reborn, Bendix. For one, you're much younger again. :o

P.S. Due to a huge increase in workload my apologies for failing to attend the group hug. Elsie, nice a$$. Should be in another thread???? :D

May I float the idea of two bendix's in a kind of cyberspace Jekyll and Hyde characature? Although I may disagree with some of what you say your scything wit and succinct style often raises a chuckle in an otherwise tedious thread and it's loss would be sorely missed. You could toss a coin before posting to select whether the posting will be in bendix-jekyll or bendix-hyde style. That way we'll never quite know what to expect.

Not a bad idea and I'll certainly take it into consideration. And, while I'm at it, may I say how handsome you're looking today, and that shirt looks great on you.

How is the family?

A very good start, Mini-Bendix. Keep it up and we'll all be heading to the toilet to flush. :o

If i can hold the seat up for you, please let me know.

(gawd, this is wearing thin already. . . . .)

The veneer is starting to crack. :D

Now, you wouldn't have any thoughts about slamming the toilet seat back down once I put my head down, would you? :o

Is this a joke?

Of course not, its in Bedlam! Gospel truth in every post. What was that saying? A toad never changes it's warts?

Can't see a cyber en-titty changing his either. & why would we want said en-titty changing anyway? Could you imagine the old one gassed up on lovey dovey pills? The former was far more enetertaining.... :o

Soundman.

Well I for one like when a person turns a new leaf and decides to be a better person. bendix, I say go for it!

ps You don't have to be sickly!!!

Niceness, what a wonderful word.

I'm gonna pour another scotch and run it past me again.

By all means, use the sink Jet. I'm sure the new Bendix will be more than happy to clean up the mess, including polishing up the toilet. Such a nice gentleman, he is. :o

Bendix II is sugar and spice and all things nice. Looks like we'll have to take a recount of the number of girls on the forum. :D

OK . I'm bored now.

Back to normal. All this pent up venom was giving me wind and Mrs B was starting to wonder why my face was turning red and I was kicking the cat when she wasnt watching.

A leopard cannot, alas, change his spots.

Thank Fukc. I was a bit worried we'd lost one of our characters for a... oh about half a second.

Thanks for bringing our ol' bendix back!

It looks like the hairnet has come off ol' stalin's head here in bedlam.

I tried my best, and I failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.
