Photos: Matichon by TNR Staff BOTH cheers and criticism emerged in Nakhon Si Thammarat after jailed politician Mr. Thepthai Senpong put up a large New Year greeting billboard depicting himself behind bars outside his home, Matichon newspaper said this morning (Dec. 7). Thepthai’s brother, Mr. Pongsin Senpong, also posted a picture of the New Year greeting signboard on his Facebook page with a message that as the month of December had started with the world about to enter the New Year it is customary for politicians to post signs wishing their constituents well. This year, even though Thepthai is in Nakhon Si Thammarat jail, he sends his love and good wishes to his constituents as he has always done.
