Actually the EU had nothing to do with the security agreement when Ukraine gave up it's nuclear arsenal

The agreement was signed by Ukraine, UK, US and most hilariously Russia

Not really, all the countries except Russia have stepped up to the plate to help provide security for Ukraine. Only Russia is the recalcitrant. Meantime, there is no danger of Ukraine using those weapons.

totally disagree ....    thousands of Ukraine people have been murdered, butchered, raped, cut up, tortured and who know what else .....    they did not ' step up to the plate '   as you say .... if they had hundreds of Ukrainians would still be alive.      If they honoured the agreement they would have BOMBED Russia as soon as the first tank went on Ukrainian soil.

Did the agreement suggest they would bomb Russia? They a re concerned that the madman in Russia might press the red button.

How are they not protecting Ukraine against invasion? Russia is being beaten back. Did you expect that to happen on day one after Putin lied about not invading?

Well thats true, from China, Vietnam, it's not Communist as much as one party Capitalist totalitarianism.

Russia after the collapse of the USSR flirted with real democracy, but has kinda ended up looking a lot like Xi's China.

You could probably argue that North Korea is the only Communist regime left on the planet

I hear ya and while I agree ......  I still feel if the EU & US had have amassed thousands of troops and tanks at the border at the same time when Putin was doing the same it may have called his bluff and prevented them invading.  But it's easy in hindside ....   just saying.
