More than 2,000 UK homes left without power after blackout hits during freezing weather

The power cuts, which were localised and unrelated, affected thousands of homes in South East England.

Its only reported because its London. Neither the government, the opposition or the UK press gives a damn about the rest of the country. They only write when it affects their own homes, commute, local star-bucks or preferred delicatessen.

 

Its like Insulate Britain, if they protested in the north/wales/west/scotland they would get no press coverage but probably kind words and a hot cup of tea from the locals (who would be practical enough to then take an alternative route).
