So it didn't take long for the fake banknotes caper to take root here in Thailand, i take a stab in the dark to say that they're probably coming from China, how bad the situation is, no one really knows..

My stab is North Korea.

The accompanying message by this webpage’s user said that he was getting ready to send 2.8 million of these fake banknotes to clients today.

I'm sure the "cyber-cops" are out in their smart cars tracking this guy down.

Where else can you get money from?

Currency Exchanges, Cash on some transaction deal. Anyone in business here will receive cash from customers. I was thinking along these lines when recently in a Visa agents, 1000 baht notes all over the place.

So......what's the true difference between an authentic bank note and and the bogus variety?

One thing all bank notes have in common is that there is nothing to substantiate or back up their fake worth and value.

Isn't modern wealth one giant scam anyway?

Your 100% right. The biggest scam the world has ever seen. Mention Gold backed currency and watch the Jets fly in and destroy your country. For every Pound/dollar the bank has in assets it is allowed to lend 10 and charge interest on thin air.... Makes ponzi schemes meer armatures am look legitimate.
