Yes, because i live here and bothered to learn the local language.

Indeed.

Too typically common for even long-timers who couldn't be bothered learning the savage languages - less mingling or being social with the locals.

More embarrassing is that they don't recognize what the problems are.

Pathetic.

Who actually has a lawyer on call ?….. especially in Thailand….

Who even has the contact for a lawyer? And for what purpose ? Different lawyers do different things, no?

I do. A lawyers office with various specialists.

Really. Are you sharing?  Do they price things reasonably?  Thank You. I could see myself needing one, soon.

I think you only need to have the numbers for your landlord (if you have a great one), and a good friend (if you have one).

Then, they can help negotiate whatever must be done in case of emergency.

But, what happens if you drop dead inside your house, and nobody knows?

Who will make the call then?

So, there must be some sort of CCTV cam you can rig up in your house to call your friend if no movement is detected for x-amount of time.

And, one other nice thing to have is to be able to speak to one of your devices in a room, even if you are unable to move, and totally incapacitated, with all bodily function disabled, except for your ability to utter utterances.  In this case, you could just call out to your device, and speak to the Google Robot, and have the robot be your friend, I guess...because I have never tried this....

Are they still utterances if they are spoken?

Can utterances be un-uttered? Is milk an udderance?

Asking for a friend.
