The most important thing to do about covid at this point at the National level is to stop talking about it. It is an endemic respiratory disease world-wide. Like colds and seasonal influenza. So yes it could be deadly. Take your jabs. Follow medical advice and basic precautions. If you are at high risk, maybe you should stay home or in a care facility. The virus is never going away. In fact, Chinese hospitals are so overcrowded with no availability that I can see some Chinese coming to Thailand in order to get treatment. Also health insurance is required of all visitors whose next destination requires a negative antigen test. Could be many vaccinated as well, for the sake of principle. I would choose a destination without that requirement.
