Popular Post snoop1130 Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to make the whole year a high season for travel, to boost both domestic and inbound tourism, according to Parichart Boonclai, TAT Executive Director of Advertising and Public Relations. The strategy is to promote the identity of each region, to encourage domestic tourists throughout the year. Domestic Tourism Northern Thailand will present the beauty of the old days, which aims to persuade people in the north travel to other provinces in the region. Central Thailand will present the brand new experience of travelling under the theme of ‘Trendy C2’, to resonate with Gen Y and Z tourists. Popular Post digbeth Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 Thanks to Anutin, any tourist can be 'high' in Thailand 1 6
Popular Post digbeth Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 Every season is 'High' season It's 'high' time for Thailand You know people come to Thailand for the thing Amsterdam is famous for... now Thailand's got the other thing that's popular in Amsterdam too 1 3
Popular Post ThailandRyan Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 Did they contact mother nature and get her ok. I mean maybe all the hot air spouted by TAT will blow the monsoon rains away .. 4 1 1
Popular Post internationalism Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 domestic and international tourists don't like rainy season and hot season, just because trapical rains and tropical sun are too extreme. Just a few days stay are fun enough, but not weeks. Nothing can change it. The only motivation to travel in low season are cheaper fares and hotels. Border months (november and february) fares are affordable and there is always selection of cheap guesthouses for below 500b. The most TAT can do is try to boost short shopping/entertainment trips for Malays, Indians and Chinese, cross border or continental travel, a few h flights from north china. That would be lower market clientele 4 1
Popular Post nigelforbes Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 February/March/April will never be high season in the North, it's too hot and too polluted. 3
Popular Post og th Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 We also plan to make the whole year a HIGH season. ???????? 3 LINE: @og.th - https://og.th/LINE https://og.th (online orders / delivery for medicinal cannabis)

Lorry Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 2 hours ago, internationalism said: Nothing can change it. The only motivation to travel in low season are cheaper fares and hotels Easy to change. Just choose as target group people who can't be bothered to read up about their holiday destination. That's the majority of people. Tourists plan their trips according to their their available time (school holidays) and the catalogue of the travel agent. For many years, Thailand has been a popular destination for Europeans during the European summer holidays. Peak rainy season here, nice weather in Europe, but they do come. As for the hot season, I regularly get questions how it would be here (eg during the Easter holidays). I always tell them not to come, they wouldn't stand the heat. Fortunately, most don't come. 1

nigelforbes Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Rainy season is a brilliant time to visit the islands, it's one of the best times for us.
kwilco Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Free Umbrellas? ... or just constantly high prices? 1
Popular Post kwilco Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 I find that the rains start, it's OK, after a couple of months it's a pain and by October I've had enough. Then all of a suddenly clears up ...unless you are o Samui and it just gets worse for another 3 months. Koh Chang just shuts from May to November, the national parks are closed, the seas are rough, and ferries get suspended, the sea visibility i poor and flooding and pollution affect infrastructure every year. so TAT want to call this high season??? 3 1
The Old Bull Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 It's not just Thai weather that influences travelers. Some people come to escape the -40's at home and when that season passes they are quite happy to return home. 1 1

This is what happens when you have people who lack creativity, inquiry based approaches, higher order thinking skills and generally just copy what others do elsewhere. That about sums up the TAT and many other organisations in Thailand. 2 1
Popular Post lujanit Posted January 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2023 TAT have got to produce a news release every day, regardless of how how stupid it is. 3 2
BananaStrong Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Every city open 24/7, bars everywhere, full moon party every night (I'm sure some clown will figure out how to project a moon in the sky that looks full), 10-year visas, no visas, visas connected to your bank account....goes to 0, and then you are on overstay!!!!! above 0, stay. but those juke boxes in every taxi with lights. call every city Pattaya. Pattaya 1, Pattaya 2, etc..... now we have high season. But I'm here for the temples!!!!!! lol 2
Stargeezr Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Can the big authorities, please tell TAT employees and management to lay off the WEED When they are at work. It is affecting their brain power. Thanks in advance.

I read all TAT releases to smile/guffaw at their ludicrous figures and inventive Mathematic calculations. There are no figures in this wish-list/dream!
Popular Post Skeptic7 Posted January 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 12, 2023 Want the whole year with high season prices is all they want. 3
Shop mak Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 For this to work, TAT must work with AOT and the government, to reduce the high landing fees and slot fees, so that airlines can reduce ticket price, pre-covid prices.
mikeymike100 Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 "TAT aims to make the whole year high season for travel in Thailand" As usual the only thing TAT wants is 'More Money' You got to wander what do they do with it all?????
newnative Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 8 hours ago, Lingba said: Label it what you want..it is what it is...tourists will be few during the rainy season Possibly true of other areas but, pre-covid, Pattaya had become busy year-round, with the large influx of Asian tourists who were traveling year-round, not just during the winter months. These numbers, from China, India, and the rest of Asia, dwarfed the numbers from Europe and North America. Also adding numbers, the increasing visitors from Bangkok on weekends, coming to their getaway condos. There was no longer a 'low season' and a 'high season'. Instead it was more 'busy season' and 'busier season'.
Popular Post Purdey Posted January 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 12, 2023 This doesn't feel well thought out. What's the plan to stop PM2.5 poisoning tourists? Are tourists likely to stand in a torrential downpour and exclaim, "This is what I like about Thailand!" So Chiang Mai represents the old Thailand - breathing in the fumes from the traffic jams reminds me of the Lanna Kingdom! Why don't they make a plan based on reality? 2 1
