My wife slammed the finger with a car door. It started to look bad after a few days. The whole nail turned purple. She went to the hospital and insisted not to have the nail removed. Instead they took an x-ray and poked some holes in the nail to clear the puss. Price 4,300 baht. The hospital was nothing fancy private hospital a bit run down. I checked the bill afterwards.

1100 for thumb x-ray. I remember paying a 500b for x-ray a few years back at some fancy marble lobby hospital. Shocked.

2000 specialist fee. I think medpark is cheaper, but whatever.

1200 for a painkiller haha

She told me she has accident insurance and will get refunded. I wait in anticipation to see that as this was a telesales insurance that costs her 189 baht a month. She said they paid before, so lets see.

Maybe it was a quiet month and needed to fleece a farang

Note there does seem to be current construction (mostly hidden from road view) that seems to indicate money is being spent on facilities.  Website remains just about useless for any information on doctors (or much of anything) however.

A few years

I dunno. A few years back I fell on my head at  night. Was out of it. Had CT scan, maybe 10-12 stitches. Antibiotics. Total cost 15k. Ramkhamheang private hospital

A couple of hospitals tried to rip me off when I was drunk.

Been there several times and have had good experiences all the time. When you don't speak Thai it can be more difficult session but reviews from people who live in a country and refuse to learn the language because everybody needs to speak theirs don't count for much to me.

It has nothing to do with 'refuse'. It might be because those people don't have language skills. Some find it easy to learn a language, many don't. Are you good at everything? Hmm?

Glad to hear that and perhaps there has been improvement; as I mentioned.  But not able to find any real information on web site.   Suspect more than 90% of reviews were from Thai (likely almost all) - this is not in a location with many foreigners.  As for language - English is the medical language so would expect most doctors to be more fluent in English that most visitors are in Thai.  Your judgement that everybody refuses to learn Thai because all must speak our language I find highly offensive and totally off topic.
