Hanoi will allow vehicles on its walking-only streets in Hoan Kiem District during Tet to facilitate "ease of movement."

 

The district people's committee said Tuesday the streets, mostly near Hoan Kiem Lake, would remain open to vehicles between January 20 and February 3, the Vietnam News Agency reported.

 

The walking streets are pedestrian-only from Friday night and through the weekend, and a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
