High winds caused nearly 10,000 of the fruit weighing 1.5 - 2.5 kilos and worth 500 baht each to fall. They were deemed to be worth about 5 million baht. Apidech Bunlom, the Takang mayor who was called to inspect the area, said that the winds had blown from Cambodia. Damage was worse than last year.
