Pattaya Police Resume Traffic Checkpoints to Train Officers and Deter Crime

Pattaya Police set up a traffic checkpoint and conducted scenarios to test the officers’ handling of the situation.

 

The checkpoint was set up around 1 AM today, February 17th, at an intersection behind Phra Tamnak Hill, in the Nongprue sub-district, Bang Lamung district.

 

Pol. Col. Thanapong Phothi, the new chief of the Pattaya police station, was present at the checkpoint.

False News!  Pattaya Plod do not work when it's dark unless they smell baht.  This training is a PR exercise in the light of all the bad press RTP have had recently and over the last 20 years.

They are at Pratumnak intersection or just south on Theppraya rd a lot. If you can best bet is to take Thepprasit to soi 17 to the back of Rhompho Market then into Jomtien and vise versa
