Daly News reported from the temple of Wat Phu Taphao Tong in Udon Thani, NE Thailand - renowned for providing the winning numbers in the lottery, according to the faithful.

 

People pray to lumps of petrified wood called "Takhian" and the female spirit believed to reside within.

Failing that they light their joss-sticks by a golden samphao (Chinese junk).

Khwanjai, 47, from Kanchanaburi was in the area for a wedding with relatives and they decided to drop in and get some good fortune.

 

Theu managed to divine the numbers 802 and 706, clear as day!

Now they are planning on buying as many tickets with those numbers as they can.
