Thai Rath reported on a shooting incident at a drinks party outside a house on the Lamthadaeng Road, in Ang Thong province, central Thailand.

At the house in Saladaeng sub-district police found a 9mm gun by a Pajero Sports and evidence of six shots from a gun of unknown caliber.

Methatsit, 62, a wealthy building contractor, had been shot in the eyebrow with the bullet exiting the back of his head. He died in hospital.

His son Warinthanin, 36, was hit in both central fingers on both hands and had his head grazed by a bullet but somehow survived.

Mayura, Warinthanin's girlfriend said that the father and son had arrived from Ayutthaya to see associates and enjoy some drinks when the assailants arrived on a motorcycle and an argument ensued when they asked to join the party.

They left but doubled back and started firing. Methatsit tried to shoot back but was slain, according to a friend.

Police are looking for two men and plan to apply for arrest warrants today after studying CCTV footage.

I'd imagine the wife isn't tickled about the girlfriend either.
