Child Motorbike Gang Captured

Featured Replies

At 6.30 pm on Sunday 1st July the Dongtan police were informed that residents had detained a motorbike thief in Soi Jurarat, Thepprasit, and needed police assistance.

There was a big crowd at the scene so the police decided to take all back to the station.

Mr. Suthee Kroddee, aged 28, stated that he is the owner of the Honda Wave motorbike. Earlier he parked it at his friend’s repair shop, located on Thepprasit Road and walked in. A few minutes later residents yelled to him that it had been stolen so he, his friends, and residents chased after the thief and were able to catch him at Soi Jurarat and called the police.

The thief is only 11 years old and confessed to stealing. He stated further that he and his fellow friends (the same age) have just formed a motorbike stealing gang at a game shop near Thepprasit market.

The statement led the police to two other young thieves and found the evidence of another motorbike; a Yamaha Nouvo, and the police have contacted the owner to come pick it up.

The owner felt sorry for the 3 boys since they were so young so he decided to not press charges and left it to the police to call over the parents to be warned of their children’s behaviour.

The police will make proceedings according to law on the parents if their children were found to be misbehaving again.

A heart warming story with a happy ending.

Or is it?

Once a con always a con.
