Thais promised No Hike in Electricity costs

He said it at the event titled “The Next Thailand’s Future” held at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

 

According to Supattanapong, the cost of electricity is now 4.72 baht for residential use and 5.33 baht for industrial use.

 

The cost of producing natural gas is likely to decrease, therefore the energy bill shouldn’t go up any further, he said. According to him, the ministry’s decision to keep power costs the same for the residential and commercial sectors attempts to lessen the effects of the economic downturn on industrial operators.

What does he mean 'no hike'? just very recently electricity cost went up by 4.5% so what's this man talking about? another hike or no hike according to him?

Think they raised it as much as they could, before major outrage.   When they discontinue the discounts, will that be considered an increase, or just the rates.

 

GO SOLAR ... if you can.   Even a small system will benefit your wallet.  Especially expats retired and home during daytime.

We just had a system installed 2 weeks ago.  No problems.  We generate enough power so that we only need to draw from the grid when the sun goes down.  We are now waiting for approval to be able to send our excess back to the grid

I Don't Know either Mine Also Went up quite noticeably !!.....He Should THINK Before putting his Brain ? / Mouth into Gear.....
