Tragedy in Phetchabun: Teacher in pick-up hits gran and 8 year old student

Lomsak police in Phetchabun province are dealing with a terrible accident that occurred at a school in Ban Wai sub-district yesterday.

 

A 71 year old woman was leading her 8 year old granddaughter to school when they were swiped by a car driven by a teacher and fell, reported 77kaoded.

 

Then the teacher - according to witnesses - reversed over the head of the child killing her on the spot.

 

Police decided to let Ratthaya, 44, the teacher and driver of the pick-up recover from her shock before charging her.

So if the schools are closed for the holidays, aren't these kids more exposed to the "slaughter" in the "killing ground outside schools"?

First we swipe both of them resulting in that they fall on the ground. Nor stop the car and check what happened. Instead reserve over the head of the child????

Was that to complete job? This is why Thailand needs real driving education.

I did gear, the best, and cheaper solution of an accident, if the victim is dead. The driver can settle the compensation with the family, one time. If the victim survived, and going to be disabled, need to pay compensation at every months, till his/her end of life
