Yes, leave Biden alone as he has done so much for the country. We got to get Trump for something, now let me see? He can't be perfect as we all have faults? Trump 2024 has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

You folks can have your day when Biden is no longer POTUS and can be brought to justice just like the Donald is being brought to justice now for his crimes...You guys do understand that a sitting president can not be charged while in office right? except they can be impeached...which Trump was not once but twice.......yet you still want to believe he did nothing to create the bed he now must lay in while wearing an orange jump suit.  Bidens time will come but this is about Trump and he led a revolt, etc.....

Can you be specific. Which "more serious stuff" are you referring to? Colluding with Russia to cheat in an election? Encouraging his supporters to duff up and pour bleach on a poor black actor out for

It's exactly that sort of comment that makes me doubt they will be able to find an unbiased jury.

Funny how simple math might explain how to find unbiased jurors.

Approximately 240 million people were eligible to vote in the 2020 presidential election and roughly 66.1% of them submitted ballots, totaling about 158 million.

Do you think this is why Biden wants to run again? After all he spends most of his time sitting and he is the current President.

Who knows I am neither a democrat or a republican, all politicians in my book are corrupt in one respect or another. With any luck he may or both of them may keel over from to much ice cream or McDonalds....yet the current VP is a disaster.

True, he works at a desk most of the time. And doesn't treat the presidency as an opportunity to play as much golf as possible. Horrible man!

Oh how I love your sarcasm.......many however will not understand this.....I mean how can you walk a golf course if you can not walk up stairs, but then didn't Hilary also fall on the stairs somewhere....

When it is announced he also broke campaign finance laws, he will then be in deep doo-doo as far as his PAC

34 counts of fraud. No word yet on how many are felony charges but it would be shocking if there aren't felony charges.

A Democratic fundraising organization has announced that it is filing a complaint to the Federal Election Commission in which it accuses former president Donald Trump of violating campaign finance laws by spending political funds for a 2024 presidential bid without officially declaring his 2024 candidacy.

The American Bridge Super Pac, which filed the complaint on Monday, said in the complaint that “Trump has been illegally using his multi-candidate leadership PAC to raise and spend funds in excess of Commission limits for the purpose of advancing a 2024 presidential campaign.

“His failure to timely file a Statement of Candidacy with the Commission is a clear violation of the [Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971].”

There is also a element of Trump's fatigue seeping into the mindsets of his supporters. As in the Waco's election rally, attendees were seen walking away from the rally within 30 minutes of his speech. They see nothing new in his speech but regurgitation of playing the victim card and whining about the investigations and decided they have enough and walk off. His endless legal troubles will likely wear down support from his base and to the wider audience.

It is not up to me to prove the case. It's the prosecution that will lay down the evidence to the jury.

It is clear though they are sure they have enough evidence or the grand jury wouldn't have indicted Trump. The rest is up to the courts.

Odd thing to say when a billionaire former US President has just been indicted.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out from here. Surely going to be difficult for Trump to get nominated by the GOP now, but he's the kind of guy who can never be ruled out.

I hope both him and Green are the winning nominations.

Maybe, maybe not.  His ratings went up after the classified documents flap.  He has also jumped ahead of DeSantis.

Looks like his meltdowns and rants are getting the best of him, gotta feel sorry for the man....Nope no you dont.  He screwed himself with his mountain of lies and the games he played.

Trump Rages at Hush-Money Indictment in Misspelled Truth Social Rant (msn.com)

Carlos Barria/Reuters

He also issued another furious rant on his social media platform Truth Social, complete with an unfortunate, all-caps misspelling saying he had been “INDICATED.”

“From the time I came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower, and even before I was sworn in as your President of the United States, the Radical Left Democrats—the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this Country—have been engaged in a Witch-Hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement,” he fumed in his statement. “You remember it just like I do: Russia, Russia, Russia; the Mueller Hoax; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine; Impeachment Hoax 1; Impeachment Hoax 2; the illegal and unconstitutional Mar-a-Lago raid; and now this.”

One thing puzzles me. If he is convicted and incarcerated, what colour jumpsuit will he wear? Orange would clash, surely.

Odd?  I don't think so..  Unexpected?   Not really.  Trump's opposition has and will do anything to stop him.  So far they have been unsuccessful and this attempt will most likely fail, too.

I'm sure when Venezuela started locking up opposition politicians that the party in power and their fans were cheering. Sad to see the US going down that route, but since all the fake news about Trump and all the silly hoaxes of course it has to end like this - apart from he will be found not guilty as the charges are political BS borne through irrational hatred of the man that gave the world 4 years of peace and prosperity.

I can be more specific:

Sedition (for 6 January 2021, and all his efforts to overthrow the USG).

Sedition is a capital offense and can carry the death penalty. If convicted, the bloated traitor can be given a seat on Sparky, and he'll sizzle like Sunday morning bacon.

Conspiracy to Commit Espionage (for his theft, then lying to the FBI, about hundreds of classified documents)

trump had no security clearance, yet KNOWINGLY had TS/SCI, Codeword and HCS docs in a non-SCIF.  HCS is "Human Clandestine Sources", which even as POTUS he had no right to view or keep (a POTUS has no 'need to know' the identities of clandestine intel sources, which may come as a surprise to some people). trump lied to the FBI when they asked if he still retained any classified material. There is no reason to have such documents knowingly, unless he intended to benefit in some way from 'sharing' those with others.

The key is "knowingly in possession", which both Biden and Pence---who had some classified docs---can use as defense. trump cannot. A reminder that an NSA analysts removed a few classified docs from Ft Meade in order to do some work at home. He had no intent of benefiting from the docs, but also had no right to take them home. He is serving 9 years in jail.

Georgia...trump was caught on the phone trying to coerce an elected official to commit fraud by 'find me 11780 votes'.

The NY issue is minor in comparison. Maybe he's convicted, maybe not, but 6 Jan, GA and the classified docs are slam dunks.

He can't win legitimately but assuming he's nominated, his maga goons will be much better ready next time with every coup trick in the book.

If he does gain power again, the American democracy will be totally over.

The way I see it Democracy is already over in the States! neither side likes the other. maybe it's only a matter of time before there is civil unrest. America's best day's are behind it. The future looks bleak.

trump had better not deny the affair with Stormy, for 2 reasons. 1, that would be perjury, and 2, Stormy will be called to the stand and asked to describe trump's junk, in order to prove the affair. The prosecution could then call Karen McDougal as a witness, as well as Marla Maples. trump might be able to stop his current wife and daughter from being called to the stand, but between Marla and Karen, Stormy's nickname of "Tiny" will be corroborated. It is unlikely trump wants the entire world to know what his primary source of his woeful personal insecurity is.

Yes, pertaining to the Stormy Daniels payments.

If there was no evidence of crimes, there would be no indictment.

Why is democracy over? In 2020 it was saved by a few brave people in AZ, GA and judges (even some trump appointed) in other States.

Democracy survived the traitor trump's attempt to overthrow the duly elected govt and stop the pr forma certification of the election landslide of Pres Biden.

trump is a spent force, a traitor and soon-to-be-convicted felon. His Goobers might still live vicariously through him, failures that they are in life, but he is done. Stick a fork in him.

Democracy survives, as does the rule of law in the US, where NOBODY is above the law. The US is guided by the Constitution, not the Magna Carta. No monarchs nor autocrats.
