yes i will get lab work done next week.....i went home because of free health care...and <deleted> wanted me 3 months now to wait for proper exam....

next time i am staying in Thailand where you get immediate help even though it costs an arm and a leg

It will not cost you a fortune go to Chonburi hospital there is a dermatologist there she is one of best in Thailand and because it's a government hospital the prices are good. I saw 4 other doctors who could not tell me what my problem was but she recognised it by looking and confirmed it with a lab test. She speaks good English but it's better to have a Thai with you to get to see her as there is not a lot of English speakers in the hospital. If you go to the multi story car park you will see a 7-11 going into the hospital turn left at the 7 go up the stairs and you are in the right department.

Similar description to herpes, which is a yeast infection and it comes and goes, sometimes dormant for weeks, years even decades.

If it is herpes need to establish which branch of herpes, not a task for the layman.

If it is herpes basic antibiotics not the best treatment.

See a specialist.

Hopefully Dr. Sheryl will be along soon with some good advice.

Herpes is not a yeast infection. It's a virus. Antibiotics will do nothing for herpes.

Hopefully no-one listens to your 'medical' advice!

Pobably Bubonic Plague so nothing serious ???? .

As someone mentioned earlier, you really shouldn't post this sort of stuff on April 1st. And yes I am qualified medical practioner (in my own mind at least) but nobody else seems to recognize the fact.

I mentioned yeast infection because my doctor in Australia labelled skin outbreaks, partiularly around the anus, as yeast infections.

I'm not a doctor of medicine so I can't/won't comment further on this point.

I am also not a doctor.

However I guarantee that this is NOT herpes:

Swollen spider bite on my ass!! (Lump the size of a baseball) : r/WTF

You did the right thing when ever you get such a response it is they don't know that equals $$$$$$ to them test and more test $$$$$

Mate I feel your pain !

I have had exactly the same as you are showing/describing, it's just a bacterial infection, nasty but it clears up.

I had the first "spot" around 2020 on my lower back, where the waistband of my shorts contact my skin. I had been doing some concreting in my garden here in Thailand and an ant or something must have bitten me allowing the infection in, tried squeezing it but nothing would come out of it eventually after 5-6 days it cleared up.

The second time I had them was probably a year or so later, this time in my armpits and the side of my chest, these was definitely from ant bites as I felt them bite while I was gardening, these ones where worse and I had a course of antibiotics to help clear them up, same time frame as the first single spot, 5-6 days to begin to get better.

I could feel that the bites where infected again because of the pain, not the usual bite/spot pain but a deeper sharper stabbing pain.

I treat future bites with alcohol straight away and keep them covered with a plaster/bandaid until they go down, doing this I have not suffered with the large infected spots you show in your pictures since.

The infected nose I put down to the same bacteria entering the area after I plucked some nasal hairs.

Hopefully the your doctor will identify the bacteria and a course of antibiotics will cure you, but you will probably always have an indentation as the infection goes quite deep.

I will just add, don't bother picking, prodding or squeezing it because nothing will ever come out of it, it will be open and sore then scab over, the scab will come off and you will be left with a dent.

That was the way all mine went.

100% not a boil, these infections don't fill with pus or burst, they just swell and be very painful, then heal and subside.

They do fill with pus, which can leak from the boil. A group of boils is called a carbuncle. Shaving cuts, close contact with someone with boils can cause an outbreak.

thailand becomes nasty....i did not feel any bites though.....or maybe something really bite me......i <deleted> lots of girls this time but did not catch any visible infection in my private parts......so it must be some bite I suspect....but it seems the infection lies dormant in your body and then it just comes out somehow?

I've seen the amount of pus that a boil or carbuncle contains curtesy of the videos, these to me were different, no discharge or huge amounts of pus just a collection of white blood cells before the scab formed.

Yes, new strains of bacteria our western bodies have not been previously exposed to I think, I haven't suffered since my last infections so they will go away with time.

Same with mine in my armpit I seemed to get a bout of them, started off with 1 but eventually had maybe 4 in total, I put it down to the friction between my arm and body spreading the bacteria but it could have been in my blood as you say.

Good luck in your healing.

maybe because of waxxing for covid these new bacterias become stronger......i have been to thailand 7 times now...each time for like 5 or 6 months and I never contracted any kind of infection.....so this is new to me

Maybe it is an insect/spider bite which got infected then. You said  there were wounds next to it, but went away, except this one and created infection. When you touch it, you could spread it, as it was also on your nose, lip. So dont touch it and seal it off with a plaster, off course regulair change.

You have the pic, so you  can google or bing search for it and see pics similar.

Once i had tiny "bumps" (infections) on my chest not itching not hurting , just coming from Philippines. Showed doc, he didnt know, went to "tropical disease clinic" and they didnt know. Eventually it went away.
