A Thai man reveals his set of winning lottery numbers were generated by ChatGPT

You would have to be really dumb if you were unable to write the numerals 11 through 99 on slips of paper, put them in a container and shake before pulling out two or three to use as Lottery numbers.

But then, mental arithmetic is not a national trait when there's an electronic calculator on hand.

Still plenty of abacus users in Chinatown.

Makes a change from spotting the numbers in a Buffalo turd, or deformed animal.

Maybe I will just ask Siri. ????

But ChatGPT will know who requested numbers and to whom it gave those mumbers...

People get down on your knees and worship your new God.....AI is your new God...

No need to think any more AI will do it for you.....

While some were excited about the prospect of using ChatGPT to generate winning lottery numbers, others were skeptical.

I'm sure there was an old episode of Minder where Arthur had a business predicting horse winners - basically someone would ring and they would give one of the runners in a race - but give a different horse for every caller - on the understanding that when you won you paid him a little.

I think the computer numbers here are exactly the same thing - random 4 for you and random 4 for the next person

Wait until the AGI is there and we are all finished. AGI stands for Artificial General Intelligence.

Guess they put it like that, otherwise logically, it would be GAI. Maybe confusing with other gai's, rapper, Thai food or Graphic Arts Institute or maybe people make it to GAY.

However dont think it matters what, it would be a self sustaining system, making own decisions.

How long it will take, it finds out mankind is in control of him and can kill it?

What is its reaction to that? We will have a Skynet, terminators?

I worry the other way. When I look at my daily work, from what I have seen the AI would easily be able to replace me. Read the customer email calculate the details, quote and sell it is not that difficult and always similar. Translating language is already perfect. Driving is soon working. All the can not parking jokes are soon obsolete.

With this great help that does the heavy lifting intellectually and all we need available in the supermarket, how smart will humans be in 3 generations? Even playing video games will be boring if your AI can help you as soon as it get difficult. Not even sex will be interesting when better than real porn (there is already AI made porn movies) is available and sex robots.
We'll go the way of the dodo....The AI doesn't need to kill us, it only need to take good care of us.
When I look at the politician in my country and the AI want to take over government I wouldn't resist....Can be only better

If you ask ChatGPT for lottery numbers, you would not get any numbers as it is a language learning computor, not one that can predict the future. I think the Thai man is breathing in one too many PM2.5 particles.

As a lot of farangs in Thailand know that the number 9 is very auspicious, more than one person has said about 99 coming up as the 2 winning numbers, and most say it has been a lot of years since those numbers come up, wife's sister won 6000 baht on the  underground lottery with 99.

As for a computer picking the numbers ,,it could if it knew all the numbers for the past XX years odds of probability comes in to play, but the odds are still very low, basically I would say BS.

That Chat GPT will be a busy little bunny on the 16th as a lot more people will give it a go.
